From studying illustration at college, Leon's preferred medium for creating images became photography. Practice soon became profession and he began shooting weddings for a local studio. This led to a growing reputation through word of mouth and his newly formed company, Leon Day Images, flourished. An appearance on Discovery Real Time with the late Lord Patrick Lichfield further ennhanced Leon's wedding and portrait skills.

Through covering many weddings Leon has developed a unique eye for detail and capturing special moments. With a natural and friendly approach Leon has always been comfortable around people and enjoys the spirit of the big day. Clients enjoy a fun, relaxed experience catered to their pace and requirements. Leon spends time getting to know his clients before the day during an informal meeting where ideas can be exchanged and wedding albums can be viewed. As well as being there to take beautiful photographs, Leon is also attentive in getting to know the wedding party. A visit to the venue is always made so every detail is planned.

Leon is based in Bath, Somerset and has covered weddings in Italy and numerous locations around the UK's finest venues, which he continues to do. Bath is a very popular destination for weddings, particularly the Bath Spa Hotel where Leon is an official photographer. He has covered many weddings in the area and is familiar with the best locations to provide a rich depth, history and variety to your album.
